With a background in stand up comedy I want to breathe new life into marriage ceremonies.
We've all been to them. The boring, stuffy, monotonous ceremony. Someone standing up the front and droning on and on with everyone wishing it would end so they can get a drink!
I do things differently. I believe the ceremony can be the highlight of the day, and my 5 star Google reviews back this up.
I use humour as a device to break the ice, ease the tension and bring the gathering together. As former professional scriptwriter for television, I get to know you as a couple in order to craft an exceptional ceremony that is heartfelt and engaging with no boring bits...and we'll have a tonne of fun along the way.
I am a celebrant because I believe in marriage; I don't think it's just a piece of paper. I believe it takes courage to stand in front of the people you care about most and make a commitment to the one you love, and it's an honour to guide you through the process.
